During recent decade, SWEDCC have completed more than 1000 study cases and design projects of various kinds and won dozens of awards for excellent technical results granted by national authority, the Ministry of Transport, Shanghai Municipality, and China Communications Construction Corporation Ltd. Among these, eleven are awarded by the State, 22 by the Ministry of Transport, and 25 by Shanghai Municipal Government and CCCC. Remarkably, SWEDCC was honored with ten Excellent Achievement Awards of or higher than ministerial level in the year of 2007, which reached the highest since its establishment. Respectively, The Complete Set of Technology for Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project was granted with the first prize of National Science and Technology Advancement Award; Design Results of Yangshan Deep Sea Port Phase I of Shanghai International Shipping Center, Engineering Feasibility Study Report of Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project Phase II and III, and Engineering Feasibility Study Report of the Phase I Receiving Station and Gas Transmission Pipeline Works of Shanghai LNG Project were granted with Excellent Achievement Awards by the Ministry of Transport; Engineering Feasibility Study Report of Beach Protection at Fenchakou Reach and Submerged Dyke at NanShatou of Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel, Engineering Feasibility Study Report of Da Lu Waterway Regulation Project Phase I (Lin Gang Xin Cheng Section), and Revision Report on Engineering Research of the Planning Line of South Bank Waters (From Wuhaogou to Nanhuizu) at Yangtze Estuary were granted with Excellent Achievement Awards by Shanghai Municipality.

    In recent years, with domestic market getting increasingly competitive, SWEDCC has established its general business strategy, namely Incorporating technical strengths of design and construction, Attaching equal importance to domestic and foreign markets, and Establishing an international engineering corporation, for the purpose of further developing and strengthening the markets at home and abroad. In China, after years of strenuous efforts, SWEDCC has built up its good reputation and image in all circles and has gained a firm foothold in the area of Yangtze Estuary, the region around Bo Sea, and the ecological fields of inland river. At abroad, several projects at Africa, South America and Middle East are under negotiation or being implemented, which makes SWEDCC enter a good stage at foreign markets and creates a firm foundation for achieving the goal of being an international engineering corporation.
